FAQ

1. Do you offer assistance throughout the process?

Yes, we maintain ongoing communication with our customers. Our engineering team provides the most reasonable quotes for your project and ensures all

machining is done strictly according to the surface treatment specified in your drawings. If you need advice on surface treatments, our engineering team,

with 23 years of project experience, will recommend the best solution for your needs. This communication continues until the parts are delivered to your door,

ensuring the highest quality and functionality of your components.

2. What if the surface finish option I need doesnot appear on the list?

If the surface treatment you need is not listed in the options we provide, it may be due to an outdated or incomplete list. Please feel free to send us a quote

request, and our engineering team will discuss and work with you to determine the best approach for your needs.

3. What types of parts can I finish service from Kingteam?

We provide surface finish service for almost any CNC machined product, from simple mechanical tools to intricate aerospace parts. Our surface finishing service

will free your parts from scratches, stains, and blemishes. In addition, by applying an appropriate finishing approach, we can also treat the hanging marks and

other minor defects.

4. Which surface finishing choice is best for my project?

The end-user application and material type determine it.For example, zinc plating or anodizing may be the ideal option if your parts are used in outdoor

environments. At the same time, for interior use, a basic painting would suffice. Furthermore, some surface finishing options are only applicable for specific types

of material. For example, Anodizing is only applicable for aluminum and titanium.

5. Does surface treatment affect the dimensional accuracy of the parts?

Yes, surface treatment can affect the dimensional accuracy of the parts. The impact depends on the treatment method and process parameters. For example,

during electroplating, the metal deposit can cause the part dimensions to increase; in anodizing, the oxide layer formed can add thickness to the part.

Therefore, it is important to design the part dimensions carefully based on the specific treatment method and part requirements, and apply necessary

dimensional compensation.
